Sculpt & Contour with L’Oreal

Lovely people at L’Oreal have been kind enough to send me a care package filled with their new goodies. I’ve been playing around with them for the past few weeks and am now ready to share my opinion with you. Be warned, there’s a picture heavy post ahead of you!

L’Oreal Infallible Sculpt contouring palette
Contouring your face has been all the rage lately and many brands have released products like these. There are two palettes in the range and above you can see swatches of both – 01 Light & 03 Medium/Dark. Palettes come in a sleek packaging with handy mirror on the inner side of the lid and nice instructions on how to contour depending on your face shape. The product is creamy, applies and blends easily and looks natural on skin. You can build the coverage to your desire so it’s also suitable for beginners who are afraid they will apply too much – you won’t. Since its really easy to use, I reach for it quite a lot – the lighter shade is a bit ashy and perfect for my skin tone, the darker on will find a new home with my friend. Overall I’m pretty pleased with these two they’re easy to apply and perform well over any foundation I’ve tried so far.

L’Oreal Blush Sculpt trio contouring blush
These look so lovely, don’t they? There are three blushes in this collection and I’ve received two of them – 102 Nude Beige & 201 Soft Rosy. Each one has three complementary shades which can be used separately to contour your cheeks or mixed together for a natural glow. Nude Beige is more orange toned (also a personal favourite) and Soft Rosy is a classic pink. Because the lines are close together I find it a bit hard to use different shades on their own so I mostly swirl my brush through all three of them. I have to say they last quite well too so I’m definitely keeping both of them!

L’Oreal Color Riche La Palette lips
I’ve been eyeing these two beauties when they first came to our drugstores – they seemed so useful to have in your collection, whether you’re doing makeup for yourself or for someone else. They’re also perfect to just throw in a purse and carry with you. I really like both of them – Nude & Red – though currently I’ve been using the nude one more since it’s perfect for your daily make-up. Each palette has 6 different shades, ranging from light to dark. Both of them are lovely to use, easy to apply and perform well. The red one is a bit more pigmented, which makes sense since the shades are darker and stronger. I also really like the packaging – sleek gold box with a handy mirror on the inside.

L’Oreal Brow Artist Sculpt
Is it just me or do these look a bit scary when you first see them? Anyway, last but not least is this interesting mix between powder and brush, which will help you fill-in and sculpt your eyebrows. I have two different shades swatched above – 01 Blonde & 02 Brunette. Unfortunately neither of them is a good match for me, as te first one is too light and the second one too warm. I’ve tried them out anyway and they’re actually quite easy to use and not scary at all!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this picture heavy post! Have you tried any of these products? Which are your favorite?
