Paint It Loud with L’Oreal!

Here I am, beauty blogging after quite some time… After all the technical work that moving your blog and domain include, I can hardly believe I actually got to writing new posts – freaking finally! Anyway, I’ve received this goodies from L’Oreal a few months ago and had a chance to test them out properly. Let’s see what I thought about them, shall we?

L’Oreal Infallible Blush Paint Palettes

There are two different blush palettes, each one includes five shades. All the blushes are powders and the pans are big enough to use with most of the blush brushes. Shades themselves are nicely pigmented, easy to apply and last well. Packaging is nice, sleek and sturdy – all I’m missing is a mirror which would make them better for traveling. Blushes have a quite strong but lovely sweet scent. All in all, I’m pretty pleased with these palettes and like using them. The price of these is 13.49€.

Five warm, peach-toned shades with glowy finish and good pigmentation. Out of the two, I prefer this one – warm tones are right up my alley and perfect for the summer months ahead. My favourite shades are Peach Fling and Amber Love.

Miami Sunrise: light peach with golden glow

Coral Bay: warm peachy pink

Peach Fling: soft coral with golden glow

Amber Love: tan nude with soft shimmer

Indian Cruise: bright ember with strong golden shimmer

Five pretty different pink shades, out of which three are matte and two are shimmery. All of them are well pigmented and apply nicely, but I’m not that into pinks so I don’t reach as much for it. My favourite shade is the only one that stands out – Despinkable Me. Don’t you just love these names?

Ballet Dream: cool soft pink with matte finish

Despinkable Me: tan peach with glowy finish

Peony Rose: warm soft pink with matte finish

Fuchsia Afterhours: bright fuchsia pink with matte finish

Flamingo Dance: intense reddish pink with slight shimmer

L’Oreal Lip Paints – Mattes & Lacquers

These come in cute tube packaging and have a doe-foot applicator. Originally there were 6 shades available in Slovenia, but they have just added another three, all of them nude. Worldwide I think there are 14 different shades that include some crazy colours. There are two different formulas – matte and glossy. The price of these is 7.99€.

They’re not really matte, the finish is more satin and doesn’t dry up on your lips like most liquid lipsticks do. Application can be a little bit tricky, but the shades are lovely and worth the effort. The pigmenation is good (as you can see) and they last pretty well and leave a slight stain even after they fade. My favorite is Hollywood Beige.

Hollywood Beige: rosy nude

Red Actually: warm bright red

Wuthering Purple: cool vibrant violet

Liquid lipsticks with glossy finish that are easy to apply and wear well. I’ve never been a fan of lip glosses, but I actually like wearing these – they don’t feel sticky on your lips. The pigmentation varies – lighter shades perform better and their application is more even. Like mattes, these too last well and leave a lovely stain. My favorite is Gone with the Nude.

Gone with the Nude: warm peachy beige

Darling Pink: warm rosy pink

Dark River: ultra dark purple

Have you tried any of these? What are your favorite liquid lipsticks?
